Boathouse VII is the home of the Cambridge Rowing Association Boat Club, as well as of some of the smaller town clubs within the Association.
Sara took her photograph when the boathouse was typically full of life. Naomi wanted to draw the similarly everyday Cambridge terrace brick houses which form the backdrop to the boathouse, with their Cambridge White bricks and contrasting brickwork chimney stacks.
This is one of a series of images of the wonderfully eclectic and iconic series of boathouses that are found along the River Cam.
