Boathouse IV was built in 2016 for the Gonville & Caius Boat Club.
This was one of the most challenging boathouses for Sara to photograph, as it doesn’t face straight onto the river, and is partially obscured by a grand tree at the waterside. But she managed to get the perfect photo on a day when the sky seemed to almost have matched itself to the paintwork. It seemed an obvious division of labour here that Naomi worked on the areas painted blue, as they were the features carried over from the old boathouse on the site.
