Boathouse I: (The Blyth-McGregor Boathouse) Christ’s

Boathouse I

A combination of photograph and painting to showcase the beauty of the Cambridge boathouses.

Boathouse I is known as the Blyth-McGregor Boathouse and houses Christ’s College Boat Club.

Sara photographed a moment with a boat whose colours fitted the limited blue and orange palette of the boathouse. Naomi chose to paint the two gables with their beautiful contrast of the old and new architecture.

This is one of a series of images of the wonderfully eclectic and iconic series of boathouses that are found along the River Cam.
